Account and onboarding3 items ⌄

Investment accounts may be opened for individuals, companies, self-help or welfare groups, sole proprietorships, partnerships and institutions.
Awash requires an application, supporting documents, registered address, telephone and email; it may independently verify supplied information.
Authorized signatories, agents and attorneys require a mandate, authorization or certified power-of-attorney documents and specimen signatures.

Funding, settlement and account records5 items ⌄

Purchase funds and charges must be remitted directly to Awash Capital’s bank account; funds must not be handed to an agent or other third party.
Payments back to the client are only made to a bank account in the client’s name; third-party payments are not allowed.
Awash may cancel outstanding orders and has a general lien over client funds and securities when the client owes it money.
Statements not challenged within 14 days are treated as approved under the supplied terms.
Complaints are handled under Awash’s complaints policy.

Risk disclosure3 items ⌄

Market prices and investment income can fall as well as rise; capital and returns are not guaranteed.
Liquidity may be limited, so an instrument may be difficult to sell when desired.
Market, exchange, regulatory, settlement, operational, technology and force-majeure events can delay execution or cause loss.

Ending the service and resolving disputes4 items ⌄

Either party may terminate with 14 days’ written notice.
Initiated transactions and all outstanding obligations must be settled before assets and cash are released.
The dormancy period is blank in the supplied terms and must not be inferred.
Ethiopian law applies; the terms submit the relationship to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Ethiopian courts.

Awash excludes losses from reliance on authorized instructions except to the extent caused by proven negligence, willful default or fraud.
The email indemnity places authentication and transmission risk on the client where Awash acts in good faith.
Client information is confidential but may be shared with advisers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or authorized service parties as permitted by the terms and law.
Communication is sent through registered contact details; clients must report changes in writing.
