Account and onboarding3 items ⌄

Clients must have legal capacity, disclose authorized representatives, complete KYC and risk profiling and comply with AML, counter-terrorist-financing and tax-reporting duties.
The terms assume Ethiopian nationality unless disclosed; foreign nationals of Ethiopian origin are subject to the stated NBE hard-currency requirement.
Consultancy recommendations are described as tailored to risk tolerance, objectives and investment profile.

System requests may be treated as binding on the client; clients are responsible for credentials, nominated users, hardware and connectivity.
WCIB may decline a request under its controls.
Email, SMS and system instructions can be duplicated, delayed or lost; uninterrupted platform availability is not guaranteed.

Funding, settlement and account records3 items ⌄

Brokerage, CSD immobilization or deposit, custody, regulatory, third-party and tax charges may be debited to trading accounts.
Online services may include balances, trading activity, product applications, profile updates and buy/sell orders according to subscription.
Clients may view balances, securities and trading activity through subscribed channels.

DMA controls2 items ⌄

The WCIB DMA account may be accessed through the ESX portal, WCIB mobile application or website, subject to subscription and approval.
WCIB retains provider controls; credential and nominated-user security are client responsibilities.

Risk disclosure4 items ⌄

Market prices and investment income can fall as well as rise; capital and returns are not guaranteed.
Liquidity may be limited, so an instrument may be difficult to sell when desired.
Market, exchange, regulatory, settlement, operational, technology and force-majeure events can delay execution or cause loss.
Scheduled maintenance, network faults, service upgrades and third-party failures may make online services unavailable.

Ending the service and resolving disputes2 items ⌄

Either party may terminate with 30 calendar days’ written notice, subject to settlement and surviving obligations.
Ethiopian law and Ethiopian courts apply; WCIB may enforce judgments in a jurisdiction where the client has assets.

Liability, privacy and support5 items ⌄

Liability is generally capped at service charges paid during the preceding three months under the supplied terms.
Transaction claims must be notified within 30 days; an absolute one-year limit is also stated for other claims.
WCIB may collect identity, account/KYC, credentials, device and transaction data for onboarding, authentication, execution, compliance and security.
Data is retained as required by law, regulation or contract and then for legitimate business purposes.
WCIB states it will make reasonable efforts to answer technical or service requests within 48 business hours.
